Flying Business is a blog I put together to share some reviews of my flights (usually when flying Business Class), airline lounge experiences in airports all over the world, and other methods of transport and hotels – this is because I spend a lot of my time traveling with work.
You can find out more about me here and what I do for work.
Up until recently I generally flew with OneWorld carriers – hence this blog was initially called Neil’s OneWorld – but for the reasons I explain in this post, my loyalty to OneWorld (or specifically British Airways) has fallen.
Because my brain works in list fashion, I’ve tried to create categories I think may be useful – such as by Plane, Airline, Location and Access Type. I’m always open to suggestions to do things differently!
P.S I’m also not a Website/Graphic Designer by any means!

Gulf Air – DXB to BAH (GF501) [A320] in Business Class – Review (Dubai to Bahrain)
🛫 Gulf Air A320 Business Class (DXB–BAH): comfy 2‑2 layout, good legroom, and Arabic coffee on boarding… but that’s where the charm ended. The crew were indifferent at best – but did the seat and food save the journey?

BAH – Gulf Air Falcon Gold Lounge – Airline Lounge Review – Bahrain
🛋️ Gulf Air’s Falcon Gold Lounge in Bahrain is all about space, style & calm. Expect comfy seating, a solid buffet, and even a pool table 🎱—but the showers? Bit of a let-down. Still, for a pre-flight breather in the new terminal, it ticks most boxes. Worth a stop if you’ve got access ✈️ Lounge details, pics & verdict 👉

🫣 Gulf Air’s Falcon Gold Lounge at DXB T1 is… Think dull vibes, basic buffet, and a layout stuck in 1992 – with no 🧃 Wi-Fi or showers ✈️ Curious how bad it gets?

DXB – Terminal 1 – Marhaba Lounge – Airline Lounge Review – Dubai (American Express Priority Pass)
🛫 Tucked inside DXB Terminal 1, the Marhaba Lounge is functional but far from flashy. Expect average food, basic drinks, and limited service – but plenty of space to sit and rest.🛋️ Showers and Wi-Fi are available, though don’t expect luxury touches. 🪪 Access via Priority Pass, Amex Platinum, or pay-per-use.
