Introduction

This is my review of the Aspire Lounge in Copenhagen’s airport in Denmark.

This lounge is by A-Gates on the Schengen side of of the airport – and once you’re in the non-Schengen side you’re at the point of no return!

Literally just over the road from this lounge is the Aviator Lounge, which was extremely busy – so I moved over to here (which has mostly the same credentials for access), and was very quiet – so this lounge is definitely the lounge to go to!

Opening Hours

Between April and October the lounge is open from 6am to 8pm

Between November and March, the lounge is open from 7am to 8pm

Entry Conditions

Seemingly status holders with Air Baltic, Eurowings and Qatar Airways are granted access. In the case of Qatar Airways this is slight unusual, as they would depart the non-Schengen side.

Otherwise Priority Pass, Diners Club, Lounge Key and a bunch of other access cards will get you in.

Alternatively, I believe it is possible to pay on the door.

How to Get There

Walking towards A-Gates, you can’t miss the sign and the stairs.

Up the stairs, and you’ll see the door in front of you.

However, if you are in a wheelchair, I am not 100% on accessibility as I couldn’t see an elevator.

Layout

The lounge offers what I think is some rather nice decor, with casual seating.

There is some high-table seating with charging points for working.

I also found some quite cool ‘pods’ for working and dining.

There is also quite a lot of ‘loggy’ furniture and greenery, which I thought was a nice touch.

Closer to catering station, I found some dining areas.

Food and Drink

Drinks

All drinks in the lounge are self-service.

There is a coffee machine and soft drinks machine.

If you fancy something stronger there is a self-service beer tap, along with a small array of spirits and wines.

Food

The food was ‘classic Priority Lounge‘, with some cold meats, salad items, crackers, cheese, bread and some soup.

Soup was the only hot thing available, sadly – as well as some strange looking meatballs on a hot plate!

Wifi

I found the Wifi here to be pretty good, with no speed issues at all.

Showers

No showers are available in this lounge.

Conclusion

This is actually a nice lounge, with a good layout.

However, the lack of shower and relatively poor food wasn’t quite as hoped!
