Concourse B, Main Terminal, Charlotte Douglass International Airport, North Carolina
Introduction
This is my review of The Club CLT in Concourse A of Charlotte’s Douglas International Airport.
I’ve reviewed quite a few of ‘The Club’ lounges over the US – including Las Vegas, Seattle and San Jose (and have a few more coming up!).
Opening Hours
The lounge is open daily between 05:00and 21:30,
Entry Conditions
The lounge is open to Priority Pass, Lounge Key and Lounge Club members.
How to Get There
Head down towards Concourse A, and you’ll find the entrance to the lounge on the left.
Layout
Although is fairly modest in size, I think this lounge has a great layout for a few reasons, which I’ll explain. below.
There is the usual casual seating, for eating or drinking at.
There is a great little ‘business area’, and also some pods for sitting more quietly.
There are also a couple of ‘meeting room’s for taking calls quietly.
If you need to relax, there is a sleeping area.
There is also a fairly large bar – and if you’re American I’m sure you’ll want to sit at it!
So, despite this being a fairly ‘modest’ sized lounge, there are some really well thought about areas – and I was impressed!
Food and Drink
Drinks
In this lounge, all drinks are served from the bar or ordered via QR code.
I found there to be a good variety of drinks, and nothing is ‘premium’ – it’s all included!
Food
There are a couple of options for food in this lounge. The first is to grab something from the ‘deli’ – although to me it didn’t look that appealing!
Alternatively, you can order via the App to your table – ad there seemed to be some decent food options offered.
Wifi
The wifi was fast and reliable – was getting about 25mps up and down.
Showers
Showers are offered in this lounge, and booked via the same App as the food. I didn’t use the showers, but it’s great to know somewhere has them!
Conclusion
Every time I visit a lounge that is part of The Club, I find them to be better and better!
This is an excellent lounge, especially as the US is fairly scant of Priority Pass lounges, and I look forward to returning!
