HEL – Aspire Lounge (Gate 13) – Helsinki Vantaa – Airport Lounge Review (Priority Pass)

  • April 15, 2025

By Gate 13, Helsinki Vantaa Airport, Finland

Introduction

This is my review of the Aspire Lounge in Helsinki’s Vantaa Airport in Finland.

This lounge is located on the Schengen side, with other lounges available on the Non-Schengen side.

There is a second Aspire Lounge on the Non-Schengen side, however, seemingly this is only available if you are a customer of a Finnish bank.

Opening Hours

The lounge is open daily from 04:30 to 21:00.

Entry Conditions

If you a Priority Pass member you have access. If you are an American Express Platinum Card holder you also have access. I believe Dragon Pass and Lounge Key members also have access.

At around €45 per head, it is possible to buy access.

How to Get There

Once you are through Security make a right towards the gates, and follow the signs for Gate 13.

It’s about a 10 minute walk, but you’ll eventually see the entrance opposite Gate 13A.

πŸ›‹οΈ Aspire Lounge (Gate 13), Helsinki β€” A quiet, functional space with runway views, light snacks, and drinks. πŸ’Ό Ideal for short stays before Schengen flights. πŸ›« Priority Pass accepted. ✈️ Not the fanciest, but gets the job done.

Layout

This a fairly small lounge – but extremely clean and tidy, as you’d expect of Finland!

The lounge has lots of casual seating, with sofas and chairs.

For eating, or working – there are some dining tables – and also some sort of ‘work pods’.

And…….that is pretty much it!

Food & Drinks

Drinks

All of the drinks in the lounge are self service – with the usual coffee machines, soda machines and some beer and wine offerings.

There was a small variety – but by no means extensive!

Food

The food was also fairly primitive. Breakfast considered of some bread, random salad bits – and that’s about it. There was some random bowls of crisps, and biscuits, etc.

Wifi

The Wifi, I found to be fine – it did everything I needed it to do, which as basic emails, etc.

Showers

This lounge does not have any showers!

Conclusion

This is probably typical of a Priority Pass in Europe or Scandinavia….. The layout is clean and tidy, and if you want a drink (of some kind) you’ll get one – but the food is extremely basic.

Sadly, not a lounge worth getting to the airport early for!
