A-Gates (North Satellite), Seattle Tacoma Airport, Washington

Introduction

This is my review of the The Club SEA Lounge in Seattle’s Tacoma Airport, at A-Gates.

A-Gates in Seattle are generally for flights operated by Delta Airlines, however anyone with access is welcome to this lounge – but it is quite a walk to get to if you’re flying with another airline from other gates.

There is also The Club SEA in S-Gates too, however it’s worthing noting this lounge is open longer.

Opening Hours

The lounge is open daily from 05:00 to 00:00.

How to Get There

Talk a walk down Concourse A, and you’ll see the entrance opposite Gate A11.

Entrance to the lounge is either via stairs or elevator.

Entry Conditions

I gained entry via my Priority Passs.

Access can also by gained through paying around $50, and possibly with other memberships.

Layout

This is a relatively small lounge. All of the lounge has casual seating – there is no dining seating, or other types of seating in the lounge. Nor is there any business area.

On entry, you’ll find seating to your right opposite the bar, and also a lounge area behind.

Tucked at the back of the lounge there is a second seating area.

And that’s pretty much it!

Food & Drinks

Drinks

For soft drinks and tea and coffee, the drinks are self-service.

If you want something slightly stronger, there is bar service, which has a good range of cocktails, beers and wines. One thing I really like about The Club lounges is that there are no ‘premium’ drinks – everything is included!

Food

Unlike other Clubs I’ve visited (Charlotte, for example), there is no menu to order from QR code. However, there is a small range of soups, salads, snacks and other things available. Sadly no 3-course meal here! I’d say this is mostly similar to The Club in LAS E-Gates.

Wifi

The Wifi worked for me, and was fairly good during my visit, I was getting around 25mps up and down.

Showers

There is no shower in the lounge, however if you’re up for the train journey; you’ll find showers in The Club at S-Gates.

Conclusion

The food is disappointing, and there is nothing other than sofas to sit at (ie nowhere to work, etc) – but I may be setting the bar slightly too high, as I would hazard a guess that this lounge is aimed at people traveling domestically – and to that end, it’s no different to other lounges you’ll find for domestic carriers.
