Terminal 1, Changi International Airport, Singapore
Introduction
This is my review of the rather amazing Qantas Lounge in Singapore’s Changi Airport.
I’ll be honest and say that having visited this lounge I didn’t realise there was also the Qantas First lounge, as this lounge is so good!

Opening Hours
The lounge is open daily between 14:30 until 23:39, however this can be later if any Qantas flights are delayed.
Entry Conditions
This lounge is open to passengers flying Business Class or First Class on Qantas.
Alternatively, the lounge is open to OneWorld Sapphire and Emerald members – and this lounge is good!
How to Get There
Taking a left out of Passport Control, you’ll see some escalators, with the Qantas Lounge well signposted.
From here, you’ll follow the signs to a corridor, and you’ll find entrance to the lounge in front of you.
The lounge is also situated in the same area as the British Airways lounge.
Layout
This lounge is huge, and has a lot of different seating arrangments.
In the centre of the lounge, you’ll find a variety of casual seating and high tables.
There is seating overlooking the check in desks at the airport.
For those wanted to catch up with news, current affairs and sport, there is a large TV area with multiple screens.
Next to the bar, there is some high-table seating, which is perfect for working at.
If all that’s not enough – there is a HUGE dining area!
Food and Drink
Drinks
Drinks are served from the large and impressive bar. There is also some self-service soft drinks and wines. The drinks menu at the bar is extensive, with an excellent range of wines, beers and cocktails.
Food
For those wanting to eat something substantial, there is a huge variety of self-service hot food.
Alternatively, there are lighter options such as a variety of salads.
For those with a sweet tooth, there is and excellent range of sweet options – my favourite!
I think it’s fair to say that all in all the food here is excellent. It’s not table service, granted – but as far as self-serve food goes, its one of the best Business Class lounges I’ve been to in the world!
Wifi
Naturally, the wifi was extremely fast and reliable.
Showers
There are around 8 showers in this lounge. Like the rest of the lounge, they were of excellent quality.
Conclusion
As far as Business Class lounges go, this is extremely good! The food is excellent, the drinks are excellent, plenty of places to sit in different formats. It really is a terrific lounge!
If I was going to be harsh on my critique, I would say I was slightly disappointed by lack of places to work and sleep – the lounge is mostly different types of casual seating – other than having any business centre or sleep pod area.
All in all, this is possibly one of the best Business Class lounges I’ve been to, in the world – please keep it up Qantas!
