Terminal 3, Changi Airport, Singapore.
Introduction
This is my review of the Ambassador Transit Lounge in Singapore’s Changi Airport, in Terminal 3.
It’s a slightly odd lounge in many ways, and certainly has its quirks!
Visited
14th October 2022 around 7pm
Opening Hours
The lounge is open 24 hours per day.
How to Get There
Once you’re through Passport Control (note Singapore does Security at the gate), take the escalator in front of you.
You’ll see here the lounge, and using upstairs you’ll find the entrance.
Entry Conditions
In my case, I used my Priority Pass to get access. But access can also be gained by paying on the door – and also possible using an Amex of some kind.
One thing I did find quite odd was that I was given a sticker to wear as access to the lounge!
Layout
This is a modest lounge in size, and has an amount of casual seating and tabled seating.
There is what may just about to be considered as a ‘business centre’.
There is also a randomly placed massage chair!
Food & Drinks
Drinks
Slightly strangely, I was given two vouchers for alcoholic drinks.
Other than that, all soft drinks were self-service.
I guess to get a beer, you ask at the counter. In the end, I got a bit weary of this lounge and headed to the Marhaba Lounge – so gifted my vouchers to a couple.
Food
The food in the lounge is also self-service, with a range of spaghetti, chicken, rice and fish on offer – as well as a rather large salad bar!
Wifi
The Wifi worked for me, and was fairly good during my visit, I was getting around 20mps up and down.
Showers
There are showers in the lounge which is great. They appear to be unmanned, with a common area for using towels and hairdryers! With that said, the showers seemed to be clean and of good quality.
Conclusion
Despite its modest size, as far as Priority Lounges go – this was an OK good one. For an hour or so it’s fine – but any longer, I’d advise heading out to Terminal 1 and visiting the lounges there!
Having to wear a sticker like a school kid was a little odd, and the drinks vouchers unfortunate – but all in all in all it’s not a bad lounge.
Are there better lounges in Singapore’s Changi! You bet there is! Take a look at my reviews of Terminal 1!
